Shimano TLD two-speed reels have long been the choice for anglers requiring the reliability and benefits of reduced weight from a graphite-framed overhead, coupled with a lower gear option for shifting stubborn fish. Tolerances have been tightened for use with braided line, the handles on the 20 and 30 are now the same as the Tiagra and Torsa light overheads, while chrome plated brass handle shanks and oversize handles give the 50 and 50LRS real cranking power.
